| New Designer Casings and Skins for the iPhone 4 Posted: 10 Aug 2010 04:30 AM PDT Since the iPhone 4 has been released, it has become one of the most desired gadgets, all over the world. One good thing is that designers are interested in giving different looks to this most wanted gadget. In the past month, there have been different design modifications of the iPhone 4 from Karvt, Gresso and Stuart Hughes. Gresso's design was the first to come on the web and in the market. They modified the design of iPhone 4 by using 200-year-old African Blackwood in combination with 18-karat gold. Here are their 2 designs – Male and Female models – with the Female version having dainty engraving and Swarovski crystals. The Male model of iPhone 4 costs $3,000 and the Female model costs $3,500. The second design is a masterpiece from the Stuart Hughes collection. The whole frame is covered with diamonds, and on the rear side, it has a platinum and diamond Apple logo. This model of iPhone 4 is factory unlocked and comes with a luxurious hand finished wallet made from Ostrich foot. Overall, this iPhone 4 costs £12,995, which is quite expensive. Keeping in view of all the above designs, Karvt decided to make some lower cost skins for iPhone 4. They made 9 different skins available in Bamboo, Cherry, Pine, and Maple and Walnut colors. These skins only cost $25 and are worth trying because they will give your iPhone a stronger, antique look. The iPhone 4 skins come with both back and front casings. The Karvt skins are the best option because of the low cost and greater variety of designs. However, if you want a unique and an expensive design, go for Gresso. What do you say – which design is the best and which one would you choose? Guest post by Syed Usman at TecRux, a blog focusing on the latest technology news.
