| Swagbucks Back to School Promotions + New Members get 70 Swagbucks for Joining Posted: 09 Aug 2010 08:36 PM PDT I may have mentioned one (or fifty) times how much I love Swagbucks. Swagbucks is a fun program that allows you to earn “bucks” by searching the web, taking surveys, finding codes on the Swagbucks Facebook and Twitter pages, and more. You can then redeem your Sawgbucks for tons of great prizes including Amazon and Starbucks gift cards (two of my personal favorites!). If you are new to Swagbucks, right now is a great time to join because they are offering 40 bonus bucks for signing up through 8/15/10. Here is what you have to do:
In addition, Swagbucks is running a variety of Back to school promotions all week. This week you will have the opportunity to win 5 different limited edition back to school Swagbucks. If you snag them all you will be awarded with a bonus 50 Swagbucks! Also keep your eye out for the Swag Code Extravaganza on Thursday, where you will get at least 5 codes for extra bucks. I know that I am working toward a purchase goal with my Swagbucks, so I’m excited to earn some extra Swagbucks this week! For those of you already using Swagbucks, what are your favorite ways to spend your bucks? | Morton Salt: $0.55/1 Printable Coupon + a Recipe Posted: 09 Aug 2010 08:10 PM PDT We grill a lot in the summer, and in an effort to mix things up a little, I am always experimenting with new seasonings. One of my tried and true favorites is Kosher Salt – I love the bold flavor that it gives to steaks and potatoes. I also use Seasoned Salt quite a bit, but had never tried Morton’s Seasoned Salt before. In fact – I have never branched beyond Morton’s Kosher Salt or Iodized Salt – so I was excited to give it a try! I make “potato packets” at least once a week, so I thought I would add Morton’s Seasoned Salt to my potatoes on Friday night. I tend to just eyeball things when making these packets, but here is a stab at a recipe for them: Grilled PotatoesIngredients: Non Stick Cooking Spray Directions: Spray foil with non stick cooking spray. Scrub and dice potatoes (skins on) and place on a piece of foil. Cube butter and add to potatoes. Sprinkle on Morton’s Seasoned Salt. Fold foil over to create a packet, and fold up the sides to seal. Grill over Medium High Heat for 10-15 minutes (depending on thickness of potatoes) 1 packet serves 1-2 people Enjoy! Right now you can print a $0.55/1 Morton’s Seasoned Salt here. If your grocery store doubles coupons you can score a great deal on this! I love Morton’s Kosher Salt and use it in almost everything that calls for salt. One large box lasts forever – an added plus! I am also a new fan of Morton’s Seasoned Salt. It added a great flavor to the potatoes, and I can definitely see myself using it in my pot roasts and soups this winter. Check out all of the products that Morton’s has to offer here. Disclosure: This post is part of Morton Salt campaign via Collective Bias.
