Imports of Natural Gas and LNG are Down Posted: 16 Sep 2010 10:37 PM PDT Last week, imports of natural gas from Canada were about 13% lower than the same week in 2009. Imports of liquefied natural gas are also down sharply. Those LNG cargoes are going to Asia and Europe where LNG prices are higher. |

Water Shortages in Parts of China Posted: 16 Sep 2010 10:22 PM PDT More than 250,000 people in northern China are short on drinking water. In the city of Chifeng, 62% of the reserviors have run dry, while Beijing will soon face a shortage of 200-300 million cubic meters of water. |
