CVS Deals:$4 off $20 purchase on Twitter & Starbucks Posted: 13 Sep 2010 12:19 PM PDT
If you like Starbucks coffee you could get it very cheap this week at CVS. It is on sale for $6.99 for a 12 oz bag. In Sunday’s paper there was a coupon for $1.50/1. This is already a good deal, but it could be even better. This morning I scanned my card and received a $1 Starbucks Coffee CRT. I got a bag of nice coffee for just $4.50. Groupon Daily Deals for 9/13/10 + Help Fight Pediatric Cancer Posted: 13 Sep 2010 09:14 AM PDT As you may or may not know, September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Recently, a family in the Washington, DC area lost their young son to cancer (you can read their story here). When I was asked if I would be willing to help raise money to support their efforts to fight against pediatric cancer, I felt it was the least I can do. As the mother of two young children I can’t imagine what this family and others like them go through when a young one is diagnosed with cancer. This week (through Friday) whenever you use the links provided in the Groupon posts on Stretching a Buck to buy your Groupons (or to sign up), 8% of your purchase will go to the Declan Carmical Fund. This money will help Declan’s family support their efforts to fight pediatric cancer. The Akron/Canton deal for the day is $35 worth of desserts at Fancy Fortune Cookies for just $15. The fortune cookies look delicious and if you are looking for a unique gift, you can even customize your own fortune cookies. The North Jersey deal for the day is from Wine Insiders Online. You can purchase $75 worth of wine delivered to your door for just $25. If you are in the Columbus area you can get $25 worth of Mexican Fare at Park Street Cantina for just $10. If you are in the Detroit area you can get a small box of organic produce delivered to your door for just $16. This offer from Door to Door Organics almost looks too good to be true. I was very impressed with the contents of the small box of produce. Purchase your Groupons using this link and help fund Pediatric Cancer Research. Please note that you can purchase deals in any city. Just be sure to read the fine print to see if the in-store Groupons are limited to a specific store. Online deals tend to be available all over the country – for example, you can buy The Nutty Guys Groupon in any city and use it for yourself because it is for their website. Leave a comment if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to help!
