Desert Dust Cuts Colorado River Flow

Companies in parts of Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska are working to lease land above the Niobrara Shale. Early results suggest that it will yield a lot of oil through horizontal drilling, similar to the Bakken Shale of North Dakota.
