Hitler iPhone 4 parody [VIDEO] Posted: 27 Jun 2010 09:00 PM PDT Ok, so there is a lot of tension at the moment about the iPhone 4 antenna reception and call drop outs/ quality. Apple have said: - hold the phone differently - buy a case This is not exactly leaving a great impressions for Apple enthusiasts / fanboys. Michael Ingram Jr of mingramjr created the following parody when Hitler got his iPhone 4! Very funny! Enjoy!

Microsoft still King, by the numbers Posted: 27 Jun 2010 06:53 PM PDT There has been so much hype lately with tech companies hitting record sales levels. But generally we don’t hear all that much in regards to how Microsoft is going. 7.1 million 58 million 355 million Apple also says 100 million iPhones/ iPod touch devices sold. Well… Microsoft has sold 150 million licenses of Windows 7 since October 2009. This is over 600,000 licenses per day – 7 every second. This makes Windows 7 the fastest growing Operating System in history. Looking at Webmail stats: 173 million 284 million 360 million 299 million Server Operating Systems Windows – 73.9% Revenue figures $5.7 Billion $6.5 Billion $14.5 Billion © admin for Social Media News, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Google rolling out Facebook competitor – Google Me Posted: 27 Jun 2010 05:30 PM PDT There have been several reports around the net that Google is going to be releasing their Facebook competitor soon called ‘Google Me’. Yahoo already has a twitter like service – Yahoo MeMe which sounds a little the same. Kevin Rose the Founder of Digg tweeted the following statement:
Ok, umm, huge rumor: Google to launch facebook competitor very soon “Google Me”, very credible source
I’d consider Kevin a creditable source in the social/web tech industries. Google Buzz has not been a success mainly due to the privacy issues they created for themselves – sharing personal user details without permission. This is a very interesting move by Google, but i think the world is already set in our ways with Facebook. It is rumored that the Google Me social network will be tracked by your smartphone or tablet PC/computer. © admin for Social Media News, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
Problems with new iPhone 4 reception Posted: 27 Jun 2010 04:56 PM PDT There has been alot of talk about reception problems with the new iPhone 4 causing lots calls and drop outs. Steve Jobs and Apple have said not to hold the phone in the lower left hand corner, or alternatively buy a special case from Apple for $29. This comes down to an issue with the iPhone 4 where it’s ability to switch between frequencies is causing the loss in signal. Many Apple finatics have been emailing Steve Jobs and he has responded with ‘there is no reception issue – stay tuned’ – possibly meaning there is a software update to fix the issue? Otherwise it is speculated that Apple may be distributing everyone free cases but this will obviously take time to arrange. © admin for Social Media News, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us |
