Samsung Launches SHW-A210S And SHW-A250 In South Korea

Earlier this month, Samsung launched two new touchscreen phones in South Korea, SHW-A210S and SHW-A250. Samsung SHW-A210S is the South Korea’s Monte and it is targeted at the youngsters who are looking for a handset with stylish design with improved functions. SHW-A250 looks similar to Corby range of phones and it is targeted at the first time touchscreen mobile users in South Korea.

SHW-A210S comes with 3 inch touchscreen display, 3G Connectivity, 3 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm audio jack, MicroSD card slot, Wi-Fi, 3D motion picture support, Bluetooth and much more. SHW-A250 features a 2.8 inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera, MicroSD card slot, 16GB expandable memory, 5000 contacts phonebook capacity, SOS, subway maps and so on.

SHW-A210S is available in three color combinations – Black with orange, black with silver and White with red. SHW-A250 SKT variant comes in black or white colors whereas the KT variant comes in brown, black, white and pink colors. SHW-A210S is priced at 600,000 won (approx. $520) whereas the SHW-A250 comes with a price tag of 500,000 won (approx. $430).

Nokia C3 To Launch In Mid-September And C6 On October In India

We have a good news for those who were eagerly waiting for the launch of Nokia C3 and Nokia C6 In India. Nokia India has tweeted that Nokia C3 is scheduled to launch in mid-September followed by Nokia C6 in October. Nokia C3 and Nokia C6 which was announced early this year, has already been launched in many countries, but Nokia haven’t launched it in India due to some unknown reasons.

Nokia C6 is a mid-budget smartphone which has some amazing features such as the 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen display, Symbian^1 UI, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G Connectivity, Wi-Fi, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 3.5mm headphone jack, 200 MB internal memory, 16 GB expandable memory, Bluetooth, A-GPS, OVI Chat, OVI Share, 1200 mAh battery and much more

Nokia C3 is an entry level QWERTY phone which comes with great features such as a 2.4 inch QVGA display, Series 40 UI, full QWERTY keyboard, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, 2 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, Stereo FM Radio, 55 MB internal memory, 8 GB expandable memory, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, OVI Chat, OVI Share and so on.

MOTO KEY is a low end QWERTY phone which is specially targeted at the text-savvy and online social networking crazy teens. This handset is said to be the rival of the Nokia’s latest low end QWERTY phone, the Nokia C3. It has a 3 megapixel camera, GPRS/EGDE connectivity, 32GB expandable memory and it runs on the Motorola's proprietary OS. This handset is expected to be announced soon. Samsung Sells 1 Million Galaxy S Handsets In The U.S

The Samsung Galaxy S series of phone has another milestone under its name now. Today, Samsung officially announced in a press release that they have managed to sell more than a million Galaxy S devices in the U.S. This is aSamsung Galaxy S pretty impressive figure considering the device hit the retail stores on July 15 and only under two operators – AT&T and T-Mobile. AT&T sells the Galaxy S as the Captivate, while T-Mobile sells it as the Samsung Vibrant. Sprint is going to launch the Galaxy S on August 31st under the Samsung Epic 4G name.

Rumors suggest Verizon launching its version of the Galaxy S – Fascinate – on September 9. All the various versions of Galaxy S are pretty similar to each other except for the Epic 4G which features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. With the launch of the Galaxy S handsets under two more operators in the coming weeks, the sale of Galaxy S are set to breach the two million mark soon.

Samsung had earlier managed to sell 500,000 Galaxy S handsets in South Korea in less than 33 days.

Nokia C6 Firmware Updated To V11.0.029

Nokia has just rolled out a new firmware update for the C6. The firmware update is numbered v11.0.029. This firmware update is a pretty minor. It only aims at fixing the bugs present in the phone along with increasing theNokia C6 performance and stability of the device. The Nokia C6 features a 3.2-inch resistive screen with nHD resolution. The handset also features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and runs on the S60v5 OS.

*Browser baseline updated, about 250 corrections
*Widgets are leaking RAM, amount of memory leak decreased a lot
*MPX Harvester stopped scanning when encounters File System corruption or other issues

The firmware is slowly being rolled out to the different regions of the world. The Nokia C6 features UDP (User Data Preservation) so users don't need to make a backup of their data before proceeding with the firmware update.
