| New Black Panther Party Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz Interviewed by Tommy Christopher (Mediaite) Posted: 10 Jul 2010 12:52 PM PDT This was not a puff piece interview, though it was certainly much more friendly than hard hitting. I have quoted the 'notable points' the article gave, but you should watch it all the way through if you have the time to get some incite into this guy's mind. This is shaping up to be a real problem for Obama and the Democrats unless they nip this in the but real quick. Videos embedded below. "Part 1: I begin by asking Malik Shabazz to recount the Philadelphia incident. 1:40 "What did you think of what King Samir did (on election Day)?" 2:31 "King Samir is back in our organization, and in good standing within our organization." 4:20 Shabazz says that no voters were intimidated, I offer examples of the government's witnesses. 6:00 Why did the NBPP have people out at the polls in 2008? Just before the 8 minute mark, watch the guy in the white shirt. I spent a good part of the rest of the interview trying not to laugh at this. 8:56 Shabazz responds to the allegation that charges were dismissed because the Obama administration doesn't care about the civil rights of white voters. He also discusses the Anthony Hill and Theresa Ardoin murders, which were each followed by a post-mortem dragging from a pickup truck. 12:15 We discuss the controversy that arose during the 2008 campaign, centered around a NBPP member's profile on Barack Obama's campaign forum. 13:20 I ask Malik about the NBPP's designation as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League, and the denunciation by original Black Panthers. He talks about modern black leaders who he says support the NBPP. | BP Removes Oil Cap in Hopes of Replacing With More Effective One Posted: 10 Jul 2010 12:28 PM PDT The oil from the BP spill is flowing almost unencumbered now. About five million gallons will pour into the ocean before the new cap is installed, assuming it works. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100710/ap_on_bi_ge/us_gulf_oil_spill "Robotic submarines removed the cap from the gushing well in the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday, beginning a period of at least two days when oil will flow freely into the sea. It's the first step in placing a tighter dome that is supposed to funnel more oil to collection ships on the surface a mile above. If all goes according to plan, the tandem of the tighter cap and the surface ships could keep all the oil from polluting the fragile Gulf as soon as Monday. ... It would be only a temporary solution to the catastrophe unleashed by a drilling rig explosion nearly 12 weeks ago. It won't plug the busted well and it remains uncertain that it will succeed. The oil is flowing mostly unabated into the water for about 48 hours — long enough for as much as 5 million gallons to gush out — until the new cap is installed."

The genetically-engineered blood is created by taking cells from umbilical cords and using a machine to mimic the way bone marrow works to produce mass quantities of usable units of red blood cells. Known as 'blood pharming' the programme was launched in 2008 by the Pentagon's experimental arm, Darpa, to create blood to treat soldiers in far-flung battlefields. The firm Arteriocyte, which received $1.95 million for the project, has now sent off its first shipment of O-negative blood to the food and drugs watchdog in the US, the FDA."
