Kelsey Grammer Attempts To Put An End To Gossip

Fraiser star Kelsey Grammer is putting an end to the rumors that began circulating the web recently. Reports stated that Grammer failed to contact his children on Father's Day, and this was the final straw for wife Camille, in the couples already fragile marriage.

Many were surprised by this accusation, asking themselves why the situation wasn't reversed - why did his wife not have his two young children, Mason, 8, and Jude, 5, reach out to him on the day to celebrate fathers? The actor took to his KelseyLive.com site to make a statement, saying, via People,

The truth is I did call my kids that evening. Frankly, I was surprised that they did not call me in the morning but I was thousands of miles away and working that day so I didn't give it a second thought. I called them to see how they were doing as I do almost every night at around the same time, 11 p.m. my time, 8 p.m. their time, just before they go to be. Mason had been upset earlier that day because she was missing me. I spoke to her for some time and reassured her that I loved her and that I would be seeing her soon."

With some ice cream cones in hand, Tori Spelling brought her kids Liam, 3, and Stella, 2, to a Los Angeles hospital to visit papa Dean McDermott on Sunday (July 4) as he recovers from a motorcycle accident.

Dean has kept his fans updated on his condition via Twitter. "I had the worst night. Catheter cut me up coming out. Unbelievable pain. I got a fever of 104 and was throwing up. Fun, WOW !!!" Dean wrote on Saturday (July 3). Yesterday, the father-of-three tweeted: "I'm healing, slowly Ill be doing rehab for a while I messed a few things up when I crashed."

Dean is recovering from a punctured and collapsed lung as well as a few other injuries he sustained from a dirt bike accident.

Melanie Brown's Girls' Day Out

Melanie Brown enjoyed a day out with her daughters Phoenix Chi, 11, and Angel Iris, 3, yesterday, taking them to Dashing Diva nail salon in Tarzana, California (July 4).

Mel recently revealed that she and Angel's dad Eddie Murphy are now on good terms, saying, "We went to Shrek - we got invited by Angel's father and we all went and were supportive and it was great family fun. It's really cool. Everything's like water under the bridge."

Earlier today we spotted Mel's Spice Girl pal Geri Halliwell arriving in Nice, France with her adorable daughter Bluebell.

Funnyman Ray Romano and his 20-year-old daughter Ally spent the 4th of July going for a bike ride around Malibu, Calif. together. The father-daughter duo biked along the ocean, making a stop at one point along their travels.

Ray and his wife of 23 years, Anna, are also parents to three sons: twins Matthew and Gregory, 17, and Joseph, 12.

The following day, Ray was photographed in Los Vegas at the World Series of Poker Main Event tournament.

Britney Spears: No Showbiz For My Kids!

Singer Britney Spears spent much of her youth in the public eye, landing a coveted role on the Disney show, The Mikey Mouse Club at the age of 11.

Now, almost 18 years later, Spears is a veteran in the industry, having had more ups and downs in the media spotlight than many celebrities. In the August issue of Cosmopolitan via Contact Music, Spears opens up about growing up, relationships, and her two young sons, Jayden, 3, and Sean, 4.

Spears took part in the standard "questionaire" in every issue of Cosmo and of course, her children were mentioned. Along with saying that she dreads "the moment when my sons ask me how babies are made," the singer wrote,

The most difficulty adjustment to motherhood I had to make was..."teaching my boys potty training." Brit went on to say, "If my sons told me they wanted to get into the entertainment business, I'd..."Lock them in their rooms until they turned 30."

Spears, who is currently dating Jason Trawick, then provided an update on her life now, saying, "Things are pretty quiet right now. I've been spending a lot of time at home with my boys. They just started karate class, which is super cute!"

Kelsey Grammer Didn't Call Kids On Father's Day

Kelsey Grammer's wife, Camille Grammer made headlines last week when she filed for divorce from the former Cheers actor. Kelsey posted a series of messages on Twitter, asking fans to respect his wife and children, 8 year old Mason Olivia and 5 year old Jude Gordon.

It's being reported that Camille had enough when Kelsey, who is currently in New York City, acting on Broadway in La Cage aux Folles , did not call the kids on Father's Day. While Kelsey would travel to Los Angeles to visit his family, sources say "Kelsey loved New York, his friends and his freedom more than his marriage."

Camille is seeking custody of the children and spousal support. This was her first marriage, and the third for Kelsey.

Geri Halliwell & Bluebell: Flower Power

So precious! Four-year-old Bluebell Madonna took time out to smell the flowers after she and her mom Geri Halliwell arrived at Nice Airport in the South of France earlier this week (July 2).

We last spotted the Spice Girl mama and her gorgeous girl vacationing in Monaco with Geri's boyfriend Henry Beckwith.

What a cutie! Project Runway host Heidi Klum was photographed taking a stroll with her four children - Leni, 6, Henry, 4 1/2, Johan, 3 1/2, and Lou, 8 months - along with some family members and the bodyguard today (July 5) in New York City. Papa Seal was not spotted with the group.

Heidi wore Lou in her BabyBjörn while the sweet tot looked on and made adorable faces for the paparazzi. Leni looked a tad bored in the background, so mom shifted gears and walked hand in hand with her oldest daughter.

Yesterday, we saw the model mom enjoying Independence Day with her kids in the Big Apple.

Jessica Alba Won't Let Honor See "The Killer Inside Me"

Actress Jessica Alba, currently starring in the controversial horror movie The Killer Inside Me, won't let her two year old daughter Honor see the film, now or when she is older.

In a video interview with Premiere, Jessica explains that she doesn't think it's "appropriate" for Honor to see her in this role, where she plays a prostitute who is brutally murdered. "It's just not meant for her to see," she says. As to why she picked the role, Jessica sees it as an artistic decision that she hopes her daughter will someday understand:

I knew that I wasn't always going to be making movies that she should see. It's part of my own expression as an artist. This is where I went at this time, I was being true to myself in that moment. I hope my daughter is making choices that are connected and authentic in whatever she pursues in her life."
