| Ethan Hawke Carries Sweet Clementine Posted: 24 Jun 2010 08:01 AM PDT Reality Bites star Ethan Hawke carried his daughter Clementine Jane, who turns 2 next month, while out in the West Village, New York City on Wednesday (June 23). Ethan, 39, wore a sleeveless Puma tank and flip flops while Clementine looked adorable in a yellow sundress, blue sandals and pink sun hat. The actor who has been married to Ryan Shawhuges since 2008, is also dad to daughter Maya Ray, turning 12 next month, and son Levon Roan, 8 with ex-wife Uma Thurman.  |

"I think this is the happiest I've been for a long time," says the 34-year-old mother of one. The Grammy and Academy Award-nominated artist opens up about her troubled childhood in Sri Lanka, her move to California, and her 1-year-old son Ikhyd. On 1-year-old son Ikhyd: "Today he climbed out of the pen, had to take the door kind of off the hinges and move it aside to get around. And that's amazing, that he's figured it out already—and that he's strong enough to do that." On moving to Brentwood, not New York City: "I wanted an environment where I could have a lot of friends and family come and stay. That was the important part for me. And in New York I wouldn't have been able to afford someplace where I could have, like, all my friends come and crash out and where I could still have a baby." On the war-torn Sri Lankan ghetto of her childhood: "I lived on a street, a dead-end street. There were like seven or eight houses, and then you turn the corner and there was another seven, eight houses. But my whole family lived on the street. So it was amazing. I grew up with about a hundred of my cousins, playing hide-and-seek all over the village and the temples." M.I.A.'s third album, /\/\ /\ Y /\, will be released July 13.  |
| Xzibit: "Being A Real Father Is The Most Important Thing You Will Ever Do" Posted: 23 Jun 2010 02:10 PM PDT Rapper, actor and Pimp My Ride star Xzibit penned an inspiring blog post this weekend, dedicated to Father's Day. He was driven to write the post after spending the day with his wife, newborn son Gatlyn and 15-year-old son, Tremayne. In 2008, Xzibit had another son, Xavier Kingston Joiner, who unfortunately died two weeks after his birth, after being born prematurely. Xzibit urges men to "man up" and take responsibility for being with their children, even if it means missing "time with the fellas." He says being a father is the most rewarding thing he will ever do. Here are some of his words of wisdom for fellow fathers: "There is no handbook on being a father. It's not easy by any means and it takes a lot of work, but they didn't asked to be brought here so, MAN UP, and handle it. When you have children, love them, stay involved with them, teach them what you know and if you don't know much, love them enough to make sure they get the education and opportunities you didn't. Show them you love them everyday regardless, whether happy, sad, rich or poor. It doesn't take money to spend time."  |

The Karate Kid star , 11-year-old Jaden Smith loved learning martial arts so much he is returning to China to deepen his study of the form! This should come as no surprise to his co-star Jackie Chan, who was recently quoted as saying that he told Jaden's dad Will Smith that Jaden was "so good" and that he should "not waste his talent." Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jaden's mom, is now planning on going to Hong Kong for two months so Jaden can continue to foster his love for martial arts. And don't worry about Jaden's sister, 9-year-old Willow; Jada says she'll come along as well: "I'll take Willow because she's learning Mandarin. She loves to learn Mandarin."  |

Baby Aviana kept covered up in her carseat - though we did get a glimpse of a pair of very tiny pink feet! Aviana, who was born on May 15, is the first child for the 35-year-old Leap Year star and her longtime love.  |

| Eminem: "My Kids Help Me Stay Sober" Posted: 23 Jun 2010 09:37 AM PDT Marshall Mathers - aka Eminem, spent his teenage years onward feeding a drug and alcohol addiction. Less than three years ago, at the age of 35, his world changed after overdosing on methadone. After a failed stint in rehab in his home state of Michigan, Eminem checked himself into a hospital where he was weaned off the drugs that had become such a crutch in his life, and has been sober ever since. He credits his three daughters, Whitney, Alaina, and Hailie, for providing him with the motivation to stay drug-free, and says that he is now living a healthy lifestyle. Of his daughters he said,
Eminem has been married twice to Kimberly Scott, his highschool sweetheart. The two have one biological daughter together, Hailie, 14, while Eminem adopted Kim's daughter from another relationship Whitney, as well as Kim's sisters child, Alaina.  |
