Are you a work at home mom? Would you like an easy way to do some quick advertising? The Anniston Army Recruiting Company is hosting their Annual Training Conference in early fall. As a part of this conference, the 250 spouses of the Army Recruiters will be recognized for their commitment and hard work to the Family Readiness Group. As a part of this recognition, each spouse will receive a goody bag filled with products and samples from various work at home moms (and dads too!). Mary Moore is the Family Readiness Group leader for the Anniston Army Recruiting Company. Her goal is to give the spouses one night where they are shown that they are truly appreciated! These spouses work year round to support the recruiters in their mission while providing family fun activities for the whole company. They are an inspiration and deserve to be pampered. If you are interested in advertising in their goody bags, here are the details: *You may provide samples and business cards for the goody bags. There are 250 spouses, but you can provide as much as you want. The more you provide the more bags you get advertised in! *You may provide one large item to be given away as a door prize during our night of fun. You will be recognized as your product is given away and your business will be listed in our program. *If you provide coupons for their goody bags, please make sure they list a military discount. The whole idea of the night is to recognize them for being military spouses! * All businesses are welcome. There is no restriction on the type of business that you have. * Some examples of donations that they have already received are: 30 handmade Army gift bags with "Army Wives Rock" embroidered on them, 100 candy bars and personalized wrappers, 30-250 business cards with perfume, soap, makeup and small hair bows attached. Mary Moore will provide you with a picture of the goody bag and a thank you letter for participating once the event is held. This may come as late as December, but each person who donates will be recognized! Amy at Who Said Nothing In Life Is Free shared this neat tip: Payless had these cute shoes on clearance for $7 and they didn’t have my size so the cashier said she would call the store less then 1/2 mile up the road. They had them and because we had to go over there, we got a $3 coupon to use on the shoes because we had to drive to another store! At the end of the 30 days, I will choose one winner who will get $50 to spend at a restaurant(s) of their choice! The rules: 1. You must challenge yourself. Try to spend less than you spend now. If you don’t go out to eat at all, challenge yourself to try new meals this month. As long as you are challenging yourself when it comes to your family’s eating habbits, you can participate! CVS sent out an email earlier today for a free gift. You get to chose from either On The Go Antibacterial Wipes or CVS Shaving Cream. I didn’t get the email, but I hope you did! CVS emails and mails their card holders coupons ever so often. These can be anything from $4 off a $20 purchase to a percentage off a specific item. Disney Store has marked down a bunch of their graphic tees to just $4.99 a shirt! This is a great time for you to stock up for your Disney trip. I counted at least 17 graphic tees that were just marked down, so you have a good chance at finding the sizes you need. I just typed graphic tees into the search box and then sorted them by price. Plus if you add a Toy Story item to your cart, you get free shipping on your entire order! Just click on the Toy Story banner on the site to see a listing of all eligible items.
