2010 Gulf Hurricane Disruptions of Oil and Gas Production Posted: 18 Jun 2010 03:22 PM PDT Based upon NOAA predictions of hurricane activity in the Gulf of Mexico this season, storms could cause shut‐in production of 26 million barrels of crude oil and 166 billion cubic feet of natural gas. The actual amount of disruption will depend upon the number and severity of storms. |
