| HTC Desire HD Benchmarked; ROM Leaked As Well Posted: 19 Sep 2010 07:00 AM PDT
It was just a few days ago that HTC had announced the worldwide version of the Evo 4G – the HTC Desire HD. The Desire HD is powered by a Qualcomm 8255 1GHz Snapdragon processor and Adreno 205 GPU. The folks over at HDBlog.it managed to benchmark a Desire HD and the device beats the crap out of all other handsets out there except for the Galaxy S series from Samsung. The Desire HD scored a whopping 1974 points in Quadrant benchmark, which is roughly 30% more than a Nexus One running Android 2.2. Only the Samsung Galaxy S handsets are capable of scoring ~1900 points in the Quadrant benchmark with a lagfix applied. Also the folks over at XDA-Developers have managed to get their hands on the RUU of the Desire HD and they have already ripped it apart. They have even started porting the Desire HD ROM to the HTC HD2.
