Posted: 18 Jun 2010 11:59 AM PDT

Well I just had time to sort through everything I have done for the survey companies in the past couple of months and realized I had $30 sitting in Paypal I hadn’t cashed out. I have my Paypal account linked to my bank account so I just transferred it. I also could of used it to buy Disney gift cards from The Disney Store.

- $30 from Mindfield ($7 earned in May and $23 earned in April.)

$30 added to the Disney fund! $89.50 saved since June 3rd!

Rewards Program Update 6.18.10

Posted: 18 Jun 2010 11:52 AM PDT

One of the biggest ways I earn money for our trip is by using rewards companies like survey companies and companies that pay you to click on links in emails. It won’t make you rich, but you can average $20-$75 a month by doing them.

I suggest you make an alternate email address to use for these companies. That way they don’t get mixed in with your everyday emails. I mainly do the click sites while I am watching TV or chatting on the phone. Good luck!

Recalled are certain lots of three varieties of the pasta product often consumed by children: SpaghettiOs with Meatballs, SpaghettiOs A to Z with Meatballs, and SpaghettiOs Fun Shapes with Meatballs (Cars).

Have you ever considered selling Avon?

Avon

Having your own small business is a great way to save for your fund! If you haven’t considered becoming an Avon rep before, you might want to look into it now. My mom was an Avon rep in the past and she did good (back in the 80s lol).

Just wanted to throw this idea out there for you all. If I have any Avon rep readers, feel free to chime in!

Day 18 of No Dining Out June Challenge

Posted: 18 Jun 2010 05:21 AM PDT

Can you go an entire month without going out to eat? What about a week or a day? Can you cut your dining out bill by 20%, 50% , 75% or more? That is what I challenge you to do!

At the end of the 30 days, I will choose one winner who will get $50 to spend at a restaurant(s) of their choice!

The rules:

1. You must challenge yourself. Try to spend less than you spend now. If you don’t go out to eat at all, challenge yourself to try new meals this month. As long as you are challenging yourself when it comes to your family’s eating habbits, you can participate!
2. You must comment on at least 10 days worth of the discussion posts in order to be eligible to win the gift card.
3. The winner will be chosen at random. It won’t matter if you have been 100% successful or not.
4. You are allowed 1 freebie meal that you don’t have to count or report back to us about. Please report on everything else though so we can encourage and support one another!
5. Free meals do not count against you. This is a challenge to spend less money going out to eat than you usually spend. If someone else is paying for the meal or you have a coupon to make it free, great!
6. Here is a thought… consider keeping a tally of what you would of spent this month. For example, if you really want to go out for breakfast this morning and you resist… write that down! You could then donate that money to a food bank or save it for a goal you are working towards (like a trip to Disney World!).
7. Be sure to check out our list of casserole recipes here and the crock pot recipes here and the under 6 ingredient recipes here.

My progress:

No dining out for us yesterday. My mouth hurt too bad after the dentist. 2 fillings and a crown prep. Ouch! Hubby grilled hamburgers last night. Today is a different story. He’s on a road trip to see one of his friends and they will be going out for lunch. But I won’t. ;)

How are you doing?

Leave a comment and let me know!

Comments, Comments, Comments!

Posted: 18 Jun 2010 05:20 AM PDT

Every morning I will randomly choose 1 reader who left a comment on the blog the day before to win a $5 Amazon.com gift card. The more you comment, the more you are eligible to win!

Here are a few rules:

1.You can comment on any post on the blog to enter. It does not have to be this one. Each comment you make today counts! So the more you comment, the more you entries you get! So comment, comment, comment!
2. You must leave legitimate comments. Short comments like hi, what’s up, etc will be removed. Thank yous, your so awesome Kristin, etc… are fine. ;)
3. Every morning I will count all the comments from the day before (it’s not hard on the inside of the blog) and randomly choose 1 person to win a $5 Amazon.com gift card code. It’s totally random. The winner will have 24 hours to confirm my email and I will send them the Amazon.com code. I will personally be providing the gift card.
4. Everyone who comments is eligible to win and you can win multiple times a month!

I just wanted to tell you all how much I love and appreciate each and every one of you. You are such a blessing to my life!

Here is yesterday’s winner: bananapepperlover1983@

I am so proud of myself

Posted: 17 Jun 2010 09:39 PM PDT

I have spent the past week or so reading over 8,000 comments made on the blog since I left for Disney. Yep! I read each and every single comment on the blog. I emailed some people and copied a bunch of questions that I will be answering soon in a featured post.

I just wanted you all to know that I do read everything you say on my blog and try to answer questions and help out as much as I can. In case you ever wondered.

I also fixed it so that when you click reply beneath someone’s comment it will appear beneath their comment. I don’t know why that feature wasn’t working. I like it a lot.
