Much in the same way that Samus can be her usual anthropomorphic self, or roll into a ball and go speeding around, Metroid: Other M has multiple modes and forms that enable players to access different sources of enjoyment. Your bounty-hunting prowess will be richly rewarded, and those rewards are tabulated below. Explore the Bottle Ship – After you beat the game and watch the credits scroll by, you’ll be given the opportunity to return to the Bottle Ship. All items will be revealed on your map, along with a completion percentage. When you have achieved a percentage of 100%, you can unlock… Hard Mode – A new level of challenge! Complete the game, and find all the collectible items to unlock this difficulty level. Theater Mode – After beating the game, you can enter the Theater, which enables you to reprise all of the game’s cut-scenes. Gallery – Also made available by beating the game. A gallery of concept art and other Metroid assets.

OnLive, the cloud-based gaming service that launched in the US in June, is now looking to allow its users to use the system over WiFi. When it launched in June, OnLive required a wired connection. However, COO Mike McGarvey says, Wi-Fi support has been the most requested feature among OnLive members, so we made it a top development priority and were able to roll out a beta version ahead of schedule. We’re continuing to add new features and enhance the service, as well as expand the list of top new release games.
They’ll also be offering a 50% discount on all games this weekend (Sept. 4-6), as well as extending the Founding Members Program that allows you to get one year free and a second year at $4.95 a month through Dec. 31, 2010. It will be interesting to see how the WiFi beta goes, and how gaming performance is affected once the wire goes away. If you give it a try, be sure to come back and let us know.

You might remember that Capcom said last year that they weren’t sure if they were going to make Resident Evil 6, and if they did decide to make it, it could take up to eight years. Well, if you’re an RE fan, you can relax. It appears that not only will Capcom be making another Resident Evil title, it will be here in a lot less than eight years. In an interview with a Spanish website, Capcom’s Keiji Inafune has confirmed that we’ll be hearing first information on Resident Evil 6 very soon, saying (translation via Google), Given the great success that supposed for us Resident Evil 5, we want that Resident Evil 6 leaves as rapidly as possible to the market. While the interview contained no details, it is a good bet that we’ll be hearing more at the Tokyo Game Show later this month.
