Fire on a Gulf of Mexico Production Platform Posted: 02 Sep 2010 08:49 PM PDT An oil and gas production platform in the Gulf of Mexico was hit by a severe fire. All thirteen crew members abandoned the platform and were picked out of the water by a passing ship. There were no serious injuries. |
