| Adobe Killing Flash On The Motorola Droid? Posted: 06 Sep 2010 10:42 AM PDT Adobe has just updated the minimum requirement for Flash 10.1 on Android handsets and the change is going to affect a lot of Droid owners out there. Adobe and Motorola had initially stated that Flash 10.1 will be supported on the Droid. Nevertheless, Motorola had under clocked the A8 processor inside this handset and if the company wants they can make the processor run at 800 MHz, which will make the handset Flash 10.1 compatible. Heck! Even the stock kernel on the Motorola Droid allows overclocking up to 800 MHz (Rooted Users only!). There are also many custom kernels available for the Droid which overclocks the processor of the device to 1.1 GHz. I seriously hope Motorola and/or Adobe do something about it since the Droid/Milestone is one of the most popular Android handset out there. Removing the Droid from the Flash 10.1 compatibility list will seriously not go down well with the Droid owners. | New Froyo Build For Nexus One Leaks Posted: 06 Sep 2010 10:30 AM PDT The HTC-manufactured-Google-branded Nexus One was the first Android handset to hit the retail market with Android 2.1 on board. It was also the first device to get the Android 2.2 (Froyo) OTA update. With the Froyo update, the Nexus One got a very big performance boost. Users who flashed this new leaked FRG33 build Froyo ROM on their Nexus One are reporting improvements in the performance of the device as well as Wi-Fi transfer speed. This leaked build also updates the radio of the phone. Hopefully, this will solve the 3G reception issues which initially plagued the handset. Hopefully, Google will roll out the FRG33 build of Android 2.2 (Froyo) for the Nexus One sooner than later.
